Nice review but what was that wierd sound in the background? – sounded like a reverb tank playing up or maybe some noise reduction artifact…

WHERE DID THEY MAKE THAT BLACKSTAR ORANGE!???? WANT!!!

  3. Mark Mayhew says:

Gibson bought Epiphone around 1957 and Epiphone guitars were made in Gibson’s USA factory until around 1969. After that, Gibson moved Epiphone production to Asia, where it has remained ever since.

Wouldnt reccomend the ultra. I had a les paul ultra III, virtually the same thing only a les paul, and the thing buzzed like crazy. There was nothing I could do to stop it, truss rod, pickup height, bridge height. Nothing I did affected the buzz. It turned out it was caused from the nanomag pickup. The magnetic field was so strong it caused the strings to buzz and theres no way around it. I resold it and I lost a bit of money on it. I would get a regular guitar. The buzz is too strong.

  11. LesPoloGuitarMan says:

where did you get the backing track

  12. VAB0L0 says:

Every time I look at the 339 in the back, it looks like a slightly-further 335, until Chappers points to it and then MIND BLOWN, MAN!

  13. theoldadministration says:

i agree he’s a more tasteful player but he only knows one scale. also he has a better sense of humour

  14. GalaxyHorse says:

The beauty of the 335 style is that you can indeed obtain a high gain sound from them without the feedback issues that plague fully hollow ‘semi-acoustics’ like the Beatles epiphones-it is the centre block which allows this-just see Clapton with Cream when he played his 335, that was high gain!

  15. chimpshred1 says:

the Captain is the better guitar player. Much more tasty phrasing!

  16. Turdbuckethat says:

I love the epiphone ES guitars. I used to own an ES-345 but it was lost in a house fire. I loved that guitar.

  17. JohnnyRocktopus says:

Gibson purchased Epiphone in 1957, all the Epiphones played by the Beatles were manufactured by Gibson. They were however still high quality guitars until Gibson moved production to Korea in the 1980s. (I know they were made in Japan throughout the 1970s, though these were still high quality guitars for a more affordable price)

  18. Martyr9991 says:

Their jamming is just freaking cool. I don’t really care for the guitars, but that is a great sound.

  19. saxby01 says:

Oh no—–not these two fools again.

  20. tootall11211 says:

The 345 seems like it’s just about the same as a Lucille, without the black and gold.

  21. P-G Karlsson says:

Lee may not be famous for his playing skills, but does have a great feel to his playing!

  22. james downing says:

You guys should come up with a blues album. I’d buy it.

  23. gugabool1 says:
